WALK THE WALK - ON HEELS
Wednesday, September 21, 2016
What am I wearing today? A pair of distressed jeans and
Sneakers. It is no secret that the White Sneaker Trend has and is still going
strong. An epitome of Fashion meets Comfort, according to me. While my Sneakers
stand proudly on my shoe-rack, one can't ignore the shoes that give you some
height, shoes that elevate your ensemble, shoes that bring you confidence,
shoes that we so loving call Heels. You really can’t deny the power of a good
pair of Heels. Can you?
With every fashion week that
goes by, we only see more and more of Footwear Trends and we have no issues
with that, Besides the usual, here is a list of shoes we'd love to own this
coming season.
MULES :
If you are looking to invest on a pair of heels, keep Stilettoes and Pumps aside for this once and grab a pair of classic mules. If you prefer flats, have no worry for Loafer mules exist too. Mules are not only 'on-trend' but also very comfortable. Wear them with your favorite jeans or an off-shoulder dress and you are good to go.
VELVET BOOTIES :
If you plan on revamping your wardrobe this fall, opt for something chic ad edgy. Something like a pair of Velvet Boots. Yes, Velvet Boots are a thing and these boots can actually work as a staple piece this season. Not only do they elevate your overall look, these are versatile and can be styled under anything. Also , nothing screams luxury like Velvet.
LACE UP HEELS :
Something that I have been seeing on most celebrities and also my friends on Instagram, Lace Up Heels add sexy to styling and they are perfect for night outs and dinner dates. Pair them up with a bodycon dress or simply go for a jumpsuit with it. You can also wear it with jeans, just make sure to fold your denim , two folds should do.
BLOCK HEELS :
Block Heels may be a thing from the past. I remember my mum wearing them when I was a baby and I only wish she had stored them safely. Isn't Comfort plus Style a win win? Block Heels are like wedges ,except for the fact that they look a lot better. This fall, add a pair of Block Heels to your shoe collection because they are back, back with a little vengeance.
POINTED TOE HEELS :
I am not a big fan of pointy sandals but I couldn't resist myself from trying on a pair of pointed toe heels at the mall yesterday. Pointed Toe Heels may not be my first choice but I intend on getting a pair because truth be told, it did look good. Go for a classic Blue Jean -White Shirt look and add a bit of edgy with a pair of pointy toe heels.
MARY JANE HEELS :
For people like me, who have a hard time on high heels, block or pencil, these heels are bae. Oh they also reflect that vintage vibes which is a bonus. Right? Wear them with your favorite tea length skirts or those distressed boyfriend jeans. You can even run errands on them because Comfort + Style + Versatility = Mary Janes.
