FOOD FOR THOUGHT - FEAT TRISHNA RAI

Monday, October 17, 2016

Hi Guys,
This is a new feature that we are starting. Every week, we are dedicating a post to one of the Instagram Accounts that we follow. An account that we love for it's content, which could vary from Fashion to Food, Travelogues to Art and Others.
"Cooking, in my eyes has always been more than frying, steaming or boiling. It has always been more than "Add Salt and Pepper to taste" or "Garnish and Serve Hot". I've always believed that Cooking is an Art that most people master over time and practice and some simply don't."
I decided to start this segment with an an account that belongs to a school-mate and a very cheerful being, Trishna Thulung Rai.
Food and Poetry - a combination so smooth, that is what her Instagram account is all about ; with a few selfies and photos of Family & Friends here and there of course. Her pictures portray her love for Food and Cooking and the fact that she has taken no training or cooking classes should actually motivate us to try our hands in the kitchen. We never know what we are capable of until we give it a shot. Right?

"I started cooking from a very small age and it has been my passion ever since.

I generally prepare my own recipe and am massively inspired by my grandmother's cooking. Cooking is meditating for me. If I have a rough day, you will probably see me rooted to my kitchen floors. I would love to make a career out of it but I definitely don't want it to be my only job." - Trishna

Her food posts show her passion for cooking and every dish softly whispers that it has been prepared with love.By the end of the post, you might find yourself logging in on Zomato. So, proceed with caution. :)

They say Cooking is Love made visible and her Instagram posts are an evidence.
"Soup Dumplings" accompanied by Wild Lilies.
